that I get asked how someone just starting out, a newbie, can generate

Most often the person describes that it's easy for 'gurus' with big

So here's what I did.
Seeing the major benefits of Web 2.0 technology and sites, I buried my
head into a few Web 2.0 related guides and courses... those that made
the most sense to me. I
only considered those techniques that I could
use and generate income quickly with limited time and money.
After setting up affiliate accounts for this project and following the
advice found in the guides, within a few days I had everything in
place. In fact I had already earned commissions starting on the
second day. Not much,
but a great start.
Every day I spent on average 1.5 hours following a set of steps. Some
days a little more, most days a little less. It was
exciting to see the progress as I checked my accounts and watched the
sales, commissions and earnings come in... increasing daily.
So what were my results? I won't keep you waiting any longer...

But you may say, sure, but was this just a fluke? Good point. Here's another report from my first account going into the second month:
As you can see, the income was increasing. All I did was follow a few steps every day and the income increased.
Next, I chronicled what I did... to show you the methods and how you can do the same. Listen, as long as you have an interest in generating cash and are willing to put in about an hour a day, you can do this.
Sure, $2,000 a month may not be enough to quit your day job, but it sure is a good start and can really be a blessing for most of us, right? Where else can you earn that much, starting from scratch with a very small investment, working about an hour a day from the comfort and privacy of your home? And frankly, you can probably do much better than I did.
I'm sure you've seen systems that claim you'll make $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000 or more a month. Let's be realistic for a minute. Yes, you can make that kind of money (or more) but you need to start somewhere. You need a quick way to generate some revenue while you learn about how to get around these methods. You can then apply these techniques to any marketing you do in the future. Affiliate marketing, product development, adsense sites... anything. What you'll learn doing this will help you understand how almost any marketing plan works... especially how to get lots of fast traffic, the basis for most every marketing method online.
In fact, this is a great way anyone, newbie or seasoned marketer can make an extra stream of revenue each and every month. You decide how much you want to make. Need just a little, do just a little. Need more? Set it up where you're earning more. You're in control of your finances and income.
Plus, this is exactly what creating a passive income stream is all about. This is what will 'buy' you time to work on creating your products (the most profitable work) so you don't have to waste time on your 'job' or doing other things you don't want to be doing just so you can pay your bills.
It can start your path to freedom and independence from work you 'have' to do, to doing what you want to do, where you want. And the freedom lets you make more money.. and in turn, get you more freedom.

I just checked one of my affiliate networks that I use for just method #3. I was blown away. Not only did it pull in over $600 by itself for May, but for the first 4 days of June it's already at nearly $150. I didn't do anything to these sites after setting them up using method #3. This is true passive income.
Update: June 16th, 2008
I just checked another one of my account that I use for just method #2. I was surprised as well. For the first half of June, just one site cleared $50 and the total account was just under $100. Again, these are sites I set up months ago, one time, and don't require any maintenance. I'm going to continue to setup sites using method 2 and letting them go while building up true monthly passive income.
